An extraordinary concert experience awaits visitors on the afternoon of November 29, 2025, when musician and composer Sue and her band bring music to life in the impressive hall of Vienna’s Alte Postsparkasse.
Designed by Otto Wagner, this Art Nouveau masterpiece—one of Vienna’s most remarkable architectural gems—will serve as the stage for a concert format that intertwines space, sound, and atmosphere in a truly unique way.
The audience can look forward to singer-songwriter music in an acoustic alternative pop style, enriched with influences from classical and jazz traditions. With a warm voice, distinctive compositions, and a stellar lineup of musicians, Sue presents a program that moves between intimate ballads and powerful ensemble moments. Alongside guitar, piano, drums, and bass, the evening will feature accordion, violin, and other guest instruments, creating a wide-ranging sonic palette. Esteemed instrumentalists from Austria’s vibrant music scene will contribute their artistry, ensuring musical depth and lively improvisation.
The hall’s unique acoustics—shaped by stone, glass, and metal—lend the songs an unmistakable spatial resonance. The concert will also be recorded live and will form the foundation for a forthcoming EP production, capturing the spirit and atmosphere of this one-of-a-kind venue long after the evening has passed.
In collaboration with Café Exchange, run by students from the University of Applied Arts Vienna, the concert becomes a place of connection: drinks and sweet treats from the in-house patisserie will set the mood for a musical afternoon that blends culture with Vienna’s beloved coffeehouse tradition.
Behind the event stands a young, interdisciplinary team of musicians and students of film and the humanities, united by the goal of bringing art into new spaces and creating dialogue between architecture, music, and society.
Sue & Band warmly invite you to rediscover an iconic landmark of Viennese architectural history in a new and inspiring way.
Concert begins at 2:30 PM · Admission free, donations welcome.
